New construction of digestion tower 1+2 sewage treatment plant Hannover Herrenhausen as well as a floor slab and a stair tower in in-situ concrete construction.<\/p>\n

The floor slab has an area of approx. 1,600 m\u00b2 and a thickness of 1.65 m and was produced in one piece within 20 hours with a volume of approx. 2,500 m\u00b3. 490 tons of reinforcing steel, mainly reinforcing steel with a diameter of 32 and 40 mm, were used in the floor slab.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The digestion towers were erected on a cylindrical base (approx. 500 m\u00b2 formwork area) with an egg-shaped digester formwork (approx. 3,700 m\u00b2 formwork area). Approx. 2,300 m\u00b3 of concrete, approx. 350 tons of reinforcing steel and approx. 40 tons of prestressing steel were used for each tank.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The stair tower has a height of approx. 44 m with 560 m\u00b3 of concrete, 50 tons of reinforcing steel and a formwork area of approx. 3,300 m\u00b2. It was built using the sliding construction method with prefabricated stairs and in-situ concrete landings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
