Scope of services

Gas pipeline no. 6 (DN 500) is being replaced and lowered in the area of the B61 / Nagelsbach

WORK CARRIED OUT:

Civil engineering and pipeline construction work, relining including pressure testing.

Installation at a depth of up to 7.5 m.

Including installation of cable conduit.

Integration into the gas-conducting system by means of overshutters (OGE).

Geology: Massive Bkl 7 is present in the lower section of the pipe trench.

All attempts to work the rock using a woodpecker, a rock excavation hammer on a 35-ton excavator and a rock cutter on a 40-ton hydraulic excavator were unsuccessful.

Only the use of a 50 ton rock cutter (Vermeer T855 Comander 3) led to the desired result.
