Scope of services
We undertook all the foundation and structural engineering work for the new construction of a silo facility in Kyritz – with the exception of the bored piles on which our foundation components were erected.
The structure covers an area of around 2,050 m² and reaches an impressive total height of 42 meters. A tunnel structure was built underneath the silo to provide access to the conveyor technology at the foot of the Central Column.
A particular highlight of the project was the construction of the floor slab with a volume of approx. 1,700 m³, which was completed in just 16 hours in one continuous concreting section.
The 36.50 meter high walls were then erected using slipforming. These were constructed in just 11 days and nights, using a total of around 2,030 m³ of concrete.
